Jill studied Photography at Blackburn College, before going on to obtain a degree in Linguistics and Art History. Her photography remained on hold until moving to Lancaster in 2004, since when she has held several exhibitions. Portraiture and street photography are her main focus – her aim is to capture the ‘thing’ behind the eyes – in locations with an unexpected viewpoint.
