An exhibition produced by Morecambe Artists Colony for Holocaust Memorial Day 2023
We observe and explore the theme of ordinary-ness through the juxtaposition of seemingly banal and unrelated imagery with factual/statistical information about the 1939-1945 Holocaust, the genocides in Cambodia (1975-1979), Rwanda (1994), Bosnia (1995), Darfur (2003- present)
Ten people provided us with family photos and text which was transformed by Eleanor Denvir (words) and Shane Johnstone (images). The exhibition has been produced and curated by Pete Moser.
