Graham and Lin Dean’s exhibition is currently on show at Inspire Gifts and Gallery. We asked Graham to tell us a little more about the show…
“Normally there are months to prepare for an exhibition – but we put ‘The Bay and Beyond’ together in just over a fortnight – and managed to include a number of pieces that have not been seen before! Graham Armstrong, the owner of Inspire, on New Street in Lancaster, wanted to make a splash with the first exhibition in his newly finished space.
As our pieces were all seaside themed, it was agreed that we would bring a bit more of the seaside into the city. For the two opening events we served ice cream (rather than the more conventional wine) and on the Friday, had a sandpit for children (and adults) to play in.
We’ve left the deckchairs for visitors to sit in while they view the artwork, which is on display until the end of July.” – Graham & Lin Dean.
